An Artist, Angels Cried and Dedication for Valentine's Day

I have the pleasure to work with the artist Matthew C. Nelson and promote his artwork and The Grove Comic Book, it started as a relationship as a healing balm to wounds that will take a long time to heal and continues today. For 2013 my acts of kindness were side tracked when someone threw a glass brick into my glass house of beliefs. At first I was angry by this person accusations then as time  progressed, one door closed, another one opened and I learn a valuable it is better to forgive then to hold grudges.

I love to promote others, help others and be a teacher when someone is in need. For 2 years,I enjoyed to  to promote Indie Authors with their own promotions and many other unforgotten deeds that led to memories and a fulfilment of a toasty feeling of accomplishment to me. Tingling sense of being a light to another. My purpose fulfilled to bring peace to the universe and community  in general. I am still involved with promoting, but for the month of February I decided a hard working artist with untapped potential needs to be promote.

He is hard working and resides  in a financial struggling economic area of employment. He wants to be an excellent provider for his family and he has alot of talents, as an author and one of the contributors to the Grove Comic on Facebook and the anthology of Angels Cried available at Amazon.com and so much more.  The Facebook page of Angels Cried has their own promotion, they are asking for 500 likes before February 1st, they are at 92, so MTMC2FE decided to adopt their page and ask that all go and click a like to show support to the world that the angels did not depart in vain. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Angels-Cried/291375294299301?fref=ts

The artist was there on my birthday and gave me a wonderful gift and a story about Silvertoe, a dragon. The story board is on my personal Facebook Page and I have been posting his other artwork on Message to my Children Facebook Wall.  I and he have been working together developing employment opportunities for him, as a children's author, an artist. I created a Facebook event Acts of kindness and now decided to promote his abilities and how he can create custom artwork to be given as a special gift for a special loved ones or day, such as Valentine's Day.

We decided to have a count down for 28 days, actually starting today Blue Third Thursday, of January  the day most people are depressed, with overstress and bills from the holidays. He has brighter up my day tremendously  chatting on Facebook, he was able to see inside my mind, and present me with two, hilarious and a precious portraits, My Heart, My Family. Which is portrayed on the Facebook event.  https://www.facebook.com/events/530503523641673/

I am researching and working on creating a 501-C3 non-profit agency for causes, and pets. I have a Paypal donation button on this blog site to help raise funds for his artwork and I am honest and will place the money in the right hands with the right documentation and show all paperwork at any time to all who requested to see it. Within privacy guidelines.

Matthew is willing to communicate with his customer on Facebook and through email to create a memorable digital art-photo to be saved, upload to a CD, flash-drive, email to others or print out on Kodak paper.  The Paypal site will be able to accept donations, credit and debit cards soon or if you prefer speak to Matthew and send him a money order or a check for his services. .

Matthew has old fashioned pride and will do his best to give you a quality product with in a 48-72 hour turn around timeline  in email. For $15.00 dollars a life-time memory is not that expensive, considering a percent is going to the Newtown, Ct Community, as he desires to fulfil as a promise to someone dear to him.

Memories and Plastics Secrets

I remember as a little girl how my father would use different equipment, soldering irons and welding tools to fix a broken item, from a digital board of a computer, to the back of the old RCA tube televisions and other items. On Saturdays as a treat he would take us to visit his friend's garage. Most girls did not like the smell and environment of a mechanic's and body shop, I did not either, but it was the quality time as a female I would have to enjoy with my father and brothers.  I learn a lot about cars and fell in love with the older models of cars, like Chevy and Ford, which were easily to repair with the right tools and expertise.

So after I finished cleaning the shed, I went on the Internet and wonder where people could purchase items such as welding equipment and other supplies. Surfing around the sites I learn about the process of welding plastic work pieces together. It is a very common process for joining plastics. One company that interested me was http://www.heatstaking.com. They seem to be updated and carried the latest inventory. I check out their events page and thought my father would be in his glory attending the show and learning about the different machines that the experts are using now to build everything that uses plastic and other materials. Also I ponder about the education required for this specialized skill and which is the future and global requirement for this generation and next will be.

They would have to learn about small to large creation from toys to harbor freight and in-between.
I look around more and came across the Wikipedia page, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plastic_welding,
If I was younger and decided to go back to trade school I would study the knowledge of how to do ultrasonic welding, where a press is used to put the two parts to be assembled under pressure.
Placed in a nest or anvil where the parts are placed and allowing the high frequency vibration to be directed to the interfaces and mould together with clean lines.

An ultrasonic stack composed of a converter or piezoelectric transducer, an optional booster and a sonotrode (US: Horn). All three elements of the stack are specifically tuned to resonate at the same exact ultrasonic frequency (Typically 20, 30, 35 or 40 kHz). I like holding an item in my hands, and look at the smooth lines that flow throughout the item. All done by specialized machines with complex parts and produce an excellent usable product.  It is funny how cleaning out a shed brings about knowledge and I found a site I can recommend to my dad’s friend’s son, my brother-in-law to investigated as he is in need of replacing his welding equipment to meet state requirements.

Bombay Bear by M.J. Higgy

I as a reader first saw this book by M.J. Higgy in a Facebook event, the author was auctioning it off to help the victims of the Storm Sandy Hurricane that struck the northeastern coast in the earlier winter of 2012, and I like the cover, and downloaded it into my kindle. Sometimes life throws us curve balls and as a reader I was looking for something to distract my mind and thought it been a while since I read a children's book. I opened my kindle and picked Bombay Bear.  This book has an author and artistic touch to it and uplifts the spiritual and awakens the inner childhood wonderment of readers of all ages.

When I first open the cover to the back, I was pleasurably surprised by the beautiful colorful artwork about Bombay Bear. The story is about an orphaned bear that is controlled by an evil performer to dance for alms. The little bear was performing to bring money to his master, the evil man, but he was not bringing enough in for the begging bowl.  After a while the performer is tired and desires to travel to a new location and set up a new act of the dancing bear performance to increase his wealth.  There is an India tale mixed into this story, a short but powerful narrative about good and bad, light and dark and karma, he sees a way to increase his riches but at what risk? .

As a reader I do not want to spoil the brief but entertaining tale. As a mother and if grandmother I would recommended this delightful treat of an ebook or paperback  to my children and others for it has valuable morals in it and explains that everyone's actions will bring about good or bad consequences.  Karma is alive and it is a gift not to be played with. The only flaw is the story is too short to sit with children and relished over the meanings of the lessons woven into the plot.

It is a starter and this author should continue to bring books like this alive as the worlds' children need knowledge and adults to explain morals and though good story telling it is easier to teach which choices  bring about which consequences. This author seems to understand this niche. Highly recommend readers, parents and loved ones to preview the author's present and future publications. Goggle Author M.J. Higgy and the book, Bombay Bear. The artwork alone is worth the investment, as well as the gem of a story to share with others.

Angels Cried, Are We Listening?

As a reader, reading each story and poem, and as an observer, observing the artwork in this anthology, my heart bleeds, my eyes cry, and my soul soars. There are contributions from authors and artists around the world. This book is insightful, thoughtful and an inspiration through expressions of grief. There are stories of observers, of life experiences and of anguish. Some stories are dedicated to the angels, by singing their names in print. The authors wanted to express their solidarity and acknowledgment to the grieving as well to raise the consciousness of humanity, and to demonstrate how pain affects us all.

There are 40 authors who have created dedications to all of the angels that departed from us too early. These stories are an accumulation of the welling pain of so many senseless brutal actions against innocent people, and a tribute written for the latest angels and all others who departed too early.

This is a treasure and could be a healing balm to the families and all affected by this. It is my hope that this anthology may be one of the many steps towards action to stop violence. So please preview, buy, and go to sleep tonight knowing you invested in the school fund and became secret angels to heal the community wounded by this senseless and brutal offense. This powerful anthology was created by authors and artists who wanted to express their emotions, and at the same time assist the families and survivors with donations. Thus, this labor of love was born, and all proceeds are donated to the school fund managed by the United Way.

This is an investment that will help many. The anthology is filled with light and dark expressive stories and poems, which work to bring attention to unite people in this time of grief, and help them heal. Hopefully others learn, and offer kind actions, or at least take a look at a deep and insightful book such as this.

Wicked Dreams and Beautiful Nightmares by J.Lee Akers

As a reader, I was looking for a sentimental and dark read but some light poetry and someone recommended this book http://www.amazon.com/Wicked-Dreams-Beautiful-Nightmares-Akers/dp/1480241512/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1357267642&sr=8-2&keywords=wicked+dream+and+nightmares,

published by Faellin Angel Realm.

I brought the book on a recommendation from another reader, from the first poem to the last, the description was true, it is touching and makes you feel things like no other. In fact two poems caught my eye and I copied and pasted them  into an event Acts of kindness on Facebook, for the theme was of light and dark, about missing our loved ones and one special one about dragons. The dragons touched this reader so I will include to let the readers preview this author's talents.

This one:

The Dragon and The Witch 10/08/2008
She runs through the woods, the
branches pulling at her cloak and dress.
She stumbles into a cave away from the
weather, and witch hunters.

She pushes off her hood to reveal her red streaked
raven black hair.
She looks around as she ventures into the cave further
hearing the distant sound of the dogs dissipate.
Not sure where she is going
but is unafraid.
She is startled by a noise up ahead
but sees a light up ahead and moves toward it.
She enters the chamber and see it’s lit dimly
a rustling noise off to her side makes her gasp and turn.
She is met with a pair of yellow eyes
her heart is racing.
The eyes slowly start toward her and as they come out of the shadows
she sees it is a beautiful black dragon.
As he moves toward her she backs away but not in fright so
she can see all of him.
He lowers his head to her and she cautiously steps toward
him until she is standing in front of him.
She looks into his eyes and is startled at what she sees
sadness, loneliness, and a glimmer of hope.
She reaches to pet his nose and finds his skin is
surprisingly smooth and soft.
She finds they is no need to speak for they
just know what the other is thinking.
The dragon lies down to sleep
she curls up to sleep with him.
She sleeps peacefully knowing that
she will never be alone.
She knows that where ever she goes
that he will be watching and keeping her safe always…forever.

And the other poems are haunting and looks at deep pain we all are afraid to express yet it has to come out and this author has the insight to write her expression into spiritual and haunting poetry. Highly recommend this book if you are into deep thoughts and need to express those vague feelings and know you are not alone in the darkness, for the light will break through.
